50/50 Club Rules

  1. Your purchase of 50/50 Club entries is from Penrith and Solway Constituency Conservative Association ("The Promoter”), solely in accordance with the terms under which the Association from time to time promotes its lotteries.
  2. The cost of each monthly entry is £5. Members may purchase more than one entry and payment must be made in advance by one of the methods permitted.
  3. 50% of the proceeds will go into the Prize Fund and added to any funds that have rolled over from previous months.
  4. The remainder of the proceeds after fees will go to the Penrith and Solway Constituency Conservative Association (Registered office address: 104 Senhouse Street, Maryport CA15 6BS) to fund the work of the Conservative Party and its representatives.
  5. The Prize Fund will be split as follows:
    1. 50% will form the first prize
    2. 30% will form the second prize
    3. The remaining 20% will be split into £5 prizes, with any remainder rolling over into the next months prize fund.
  6. The monthly prizes for The 50/50 Club are advertised on the website www.penrithandsolwayconservatives.org.uk
  7. There are no alternatives to any prize and no interest is payable.
  8. Prizes will be paid by bank transfer to the winners within 14 days.
  9. Entrants will be notified as to any change in the prize structure.
  10. You agree that;
    1. You are 16 years of age or over
    2. You will not buy or attempt to buy an entry to this 50/50 Club on behalf of anybody under the age of 16
    3. You will provide accurate entry information, including your name, personal address and telephone number and accept that it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes as soon as they arise.
  11. You agree that you shall not be entitled to receive any prize if you are unable to substantiate to the Promoter your representations under paragraphs 3 (a), (b) and (c) above.
  12. Prizes unable to be paid will be added to the next months Prize Fund
  13. You accept that we may be unable to provide refunds or replacements once you have purchased your 50/50 Club entries.
  14. The Promoter may (without giving any reason or notice at its absolute discretion) decline to accept an application, cancel an existing subscription, or terminate or suspend the weekly 50/50 Club scheme.
  15. The Promoter will conduct the monthly 50/50 Club on the last Friday of every month, or the next business day in the case of a bank holiday. The draw will be made utilising a Random Number Generator.
  16. Winners will be published on the website www.penrithandsolwayconservatives.org.uk
  17. No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication.
  18. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in bank payments.
  19.  Promoter operates a Complaints And Disputes Procedure which is available via www.penrithandsolwayconservatives.org.uk and which will also be made available to customers upon request.
  20. Any cancellation of an existing subscription will not affect your prior purchase of 50/50 Club entries nor your rights as a holder of such entries, providing that you have complied with the foregoing obligations.
  21. The Promoter's decisions made pursuant to the Rules shall, once made, be final and binding.
